Hi Peeps,new member not mad quite yet(CCM MAD) been looking around for awhile as getting older and my Tiger 800 getting heavy tried staying with Triumph but even the speed twin ok on weight but too low, currently looking at a 644 2003 will be seeing/trying next week, light weight? no added electronics sounds good to me. Your thoughts please ex Commercial vehicle fitter so can wield a spanner but now a class one driver for my sins |

Hi and welcome to the madhouse. No added electronics is good but the wiring looms can cause a few issues, check it hasn't been butchered. On the 644 the lower shock eye can crack so look for that too. Plenty of info in here. |

Yep, welcome GrizzleyAdams, I bought a 604 supermoto a few weeks ago as my Physio told me to stop kick starting bikes until late spring! It is light, and seems to handle superbly, the build quality is simple and good, I suspect the 644 is the same in these respects, I don't know anything about the 644 motor, to me if it ain't air cooled it's too complicated. I love it, still grinning from yesterdays ride. |

Hi Grizzly....im a hgv driver too...someones got to keep the country moving be it a thankless task lol...ive 644ds thats kinda modified...150kg fuelled and compared to a mainstream adventure bike its like riding a bycycle... Check the bike over well and who knows it may have been owned on herd already aint many around...great forum and fscebook pagr too... Im mad for sure as i ride mine in europe when either me or bike dont fall apart Edited by Tramp, Jan 1 2018, 03:38 PM.
