Hello All, can anyone confirm that the cam follower on the exhaust valve rocker arm is fixed with no movement at all, as per the inlet one. It sounds like a daft question but just wanted to confirm that it doesn't move to allow the decompression lever to do its job? Mine rattles around like a very loose thing indeed. broke down one morning on the way to work, running fine then wouldn't accelerate or idle. I could start it, the engine would catch then immediately die as if suffocating and not letting the exhaust out. does that make sense? Thanks for any info, David just found a similar post by Madcow in 2012, similar thing has appeared to happen to mine. the bearing on the cam follower seems to have self disintigrated. Can you just replace the bearing or is it a new rocker arm? Edited by ccmdave68, Jan 18 2017, 03:50 PM.

I dont think that the bearing can be replaced, as the rocker arm is sold complete, give Gary at Sportax racing a shout, he's a member on here, or google sportax racing and ring him |
