As per title. The head is off to deal with the snapped bolt. Question is, there is a small oil damp patch around front of base gasket. And just to be sure before I disturb it, will the barrel come out with the engine still in the frame? I have tried searching the sight and google but no mentions. Yes mate, you can remove the barrel, whilst engine is in the frame, you may find there is no base gasket as some remove that to up the compression, there should be a smear of silicon though |
