For anybody that wants to know, a 2006 r6 titanium can is a straight swap for the stock 604. Just twist the mount about 20 degrees and it's on. The can is straight through, sexier and lighter than stock.

I'd post pictures but I can't find any attachment button.

I'm making this bike as lean as I can, ditched the starter motor, soon to ditch battery, just made a whole new loom negating winkers, ktm headlight, no dash (GPS cycle speedo),ign switch relocated to airbox, no rack etc. It'll be interesting to see how much weigh I've saved when I put the leftovers on the scales. There's easily a kilo in the exhaust though :D

I'll assume you bump it to start, there are new batteries out there that weigh nothing, rather than going the capacitor route which I'll also assume you would be doing if doing away with the battery.

Are you racing the bike or hill climbing, or just losing the weight because you can

Kick-start. And depends if I'm any good, I put road wheels on my 300 and high sided pretty soon after!

My bad, I thought you had a 644, must stop drinking the cooking sherry during the day lol. As said others have replaced battery with capacitors which charge enough to run the lights

I've got an ignitech though so I'm not sure how that will work out... Here's how it looks with plastics loosely fitted.
