Hi all, wondering if anyone has blanked off their starter motor? What did you use to plug the hole? Will a core plug and locate do or do I need something I can bolt in?

...Actually, you're typing at the new owner of your old bike, although there have been 'some modifications' since you last saw it. After getting ThunderDrum back, I really couldn't justify (to the mrs) having 2 CCMs...

Although on the bung front, I didn't come across one in the box of bits...

Real glad you got your beloved "thunderdrum" back & bit of a shame you didnt get all the bits I gave with selling the 'white beast' I thought you might have gotten them as they were all for that bike

There were a lot of bits still with it, gaskets, wiring, cables, chain, sprockets, jets etc.etc, but no starter blanking plug that I could see. And I, too, am very glad I got her back! Less glad the filth didn't seem especially interested in catching up to the tosspot who nicked it
