I bought a new ignition switch last year and its gone tits up already. Anyone recommend a better replacement? I don't really want to spend 30 quid on another crap item. (note to self 22mm hole) Edited by markslashbill, Oct 24 2016, 09:01 AM.

I am in the same boat mate , by any chance is yours a 6 pin ? My 6 pin I got from Haines lasted about 12 months . They do not have them in stock and are trying to get one from one of there suppliers . I was wondering whether a 4 pin is more reliable . If so fitting a 4 pin and running a separate switch for the lights might be an option . But lets be honest CCM electrics are total shite. I found your post while looking for answers on this ignition dilemma , as you posted a while ago did you find a more reliable switch ? |

I have fitted a generic 4 wire swith to the 604, you need one with 1 x N/O and 1 x N/C contact which reverse when operated, ebay under a fiver. |

normaly open, normaly closed, you want a switch with 4 wires, 2 pairs, pair 1 will have continuity whilst pair 2 will not, when the key is turned the pair that have continuity wont and pair 2 will This should do it, 4 wire switch http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Universal-Motorcycle-Motorbike-Ignition-Switch-Key-Quad-Honda-Yamaha-Suzuki-HT-/401015216848?hash=item5d5e5e9ad0:g:XVkAAOSwYIdWFhiw 6 wire switch http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Universal-6-Wire-Motorbike-Ignition-Key-Switch-3-Position-2-Keys-Quad-Pit-Monkey-/122240345321?hash=item1c7617a4e9:g:DMIAAOSw-0xYNsf7 Edited by Monty, Jan 14 2017, 09:25 AM.
