Hello all another tech question

As mention in another post, I am in the process of fitting a 560 Rotax engine into an R30 rolling chassis, the original engine went pop hence the change, I have spent several hours flushing the frame out and plan to do a couple of oil changes to make sure the system is flushed how ever, what direction does the oil flow from the rear oil take off on the engine, through the small inline filter to the frame, or does it flow from the frame through the filter into the engine ?

I hope that that makes sense

Many thanks

Garin

The oil flows from the frame to the engine via the filter
If it aint sharp I can play with it

Cool thanks for that, I've got a couple of used but usable inline filters, I will be needing to check and clean it a few times !

If when your done you have a spare filter lying around I would be interested in taking it off your hands to see if I can take it apart and get my local college to 3d print it as this part is no longer available and mine is weeping a little?

Cheers
