Gentleman,
What carburetor came with the 96/97 models?
I have an 01 which came with a ZS1 R4938 version.
My friend and I have acquired a 96 with a very different carb, and we aren't sure if it's original or not.
Pictures would be great.
For reference this is what's on my bike

Thanks

Yeah.
That's what I wanted to confirm. It does indeed have a 38 flatslide with a plastic screw on top.
Me and a friend acquired what is now known as a 96 model. We weren't sure when we got it.
It was mainly supposed to be a parts bike, and I've been having carb issues so I thought I would swap them, but when I got my hand on the carb I was a bit miffed.
About an hour after ownership, and some reassembly we got it running. Now it's not a parts bike.
I found some good info here.

i certainly woudnt break a C25, so glad you're not anymore.
it's the last run of bikes where the frame number actually has the model "C25" in it.
a lot more collectible type of thing.

if you need a carb for your other bike though, give Gary at Sportax a ring, and treat your self a 40mm pumper ;)

It would be so much easier if I just lived in the UK.
I know of one brand new carb in the US, and will purchase it if I can prove mine has an issue.
Getting a 320mm brake disk is my other massive headache.

What wheels do you have on it?
17" wheels.
2001 supermoto with AJP hubs, and Morrad rims.
Came with an NG 320mm brake disk.
This one

I've been in contact with NG. They still make the disk, but good luck getting one in the US.
EBC lists a part for a 320, but again with the good luck part.
Here's the EBC listing.

I just need a UK shop that will actually return my emails.
