I got numb hands off the mtb bighit, thats why I packed it in 'cause I thought it could wreck my banjo playing. Haven't had a problem since moving back onto the motorbikes. The vibes off the road seem to be worse on the hands on a treader than the vibes off the engine on a motorbike, although the vibes up the arse are the same on our bikes :D

i was told it was caused by me holding the grip too tight . was going to try the foam grips but never did

yeah its holding on too tight, i stopped D/Hing because of that and the full sus bikes just got faster, went to trials style instead.

what gloves do you use though as that plays a major part, something with decent gel padded palm.

my new alpinestars gloves remind me of my old MTB gloves with the palm padding.. although they are MX gloves .. maybe not the best for road riding

not sure of the brand but they are sm gloves , not leather more like mx gloves but with fake carbon on the knuckles . used to us O'neal moutntain bike gloves also .

i use ODI lock on grips on the bighit and they very thin grips . about twice the thickness of the bars .
