Anyone want a laugh at Lawman giving me the hurry up from a couple of years ago ?

We were in the Lake district for one of the annual summer meets that I used to organise
and headed out from Penrith to the Hartside cafe for breakfast.
If you are left wondering why I backed off when Dave overtakes me
it was because I knew the tight right hairpin was coming up (3:04) but couldnt remember
just how far off it was.... oh yeah ,watch for my boot slipping off the footpeg (1:43) when
I hit a pot hole and yes Dave was riding a KTM 950 Sm and was obviously hungrier than me...

A bit far ?
Over the years we've had folks ride up from London (Stelios) on a knobbly tyred 404,
he blew it up on the M4 on the way back PMSL...
Cupid did it on his 404 sm from the Welsh valleys and others made it from Plymouth
and St Davids at the arse end of the World,Nottingham,Birmingham,Stafford
they come from all over to ride in the Lakes....

I rode down to Swansea area in just under 3 hours using only the A roads and overtook everything
along the way including lots of Hardly Movingsons and Pan Europeans/Goldwings... I really don't know why they bother, they'd be better off in a car they way they ride....

Stelios has been known to ride up from London to Matlock just for a brew,I kid you not...
Pretty sure he smashed both himself and his bike on the way home that time as well....

Great video, the roads & lanes look just like Devon ones, especially when you hit the moors. Looks just like going over Dartmoor or Exmoor, appart from we have no fences to keep the sheep in !!!
Its a pitty we are all spaced out around the country as a mass meeting of CCM's would be awsome.
Maybe one day we could all meet in the middle ;)

:dirtbike:
If it aint broke.....Dont fix it !!!!!
