Hi all, has anyone run a 644 with no air box and individual foam filters? I am looking for a starting point for carb air and jet settings, using standard exhaust to start with. Any advice would be appreciated.

To be honest you will not see any extra horses by taking the airbox off, only thing is you will give the government more of your hard earned wonga.

The suzy lump does not like no airbox, the rotax benifits tho.

It does look good with a nice intake noise tho, if you must do this, I'd say from a educated guess 165 mains and 35 pilots.

Marc the mod should be able to tell you as he has removed his. tho he does run a race can,

jets I suggested are for race can not std baffled heavy as f**k remus jobby.

For the best from a std exhaust, use 135 mains 25 pilots, open holes in airbox lid to 25mm (should have 6 of them) clean filter a must. it will run fine
If it aint sharp I can play with it

Thanks for quick advice, race can is on the list! Any idea of needle positions? Can't run airbox as have transplanted low mileage ccm engine into DR, so no space, foam filters only!

ahh, Right second clip from bottom works best when in the correct frame, guess you will have to play with the jetting to get right,

See for sale section for jets.
