Personally I prefer 'under the bars' type I use Zefal cycle mirrors held on by their own rubber band
style fixing.

had these before, homemade from old chrome mirror and MX handguard i had lying round.Posted Image

worked great for 3yrs, but the chrome mirror back on RH one fatigued through vibes and fell off, plus as the stalk was plastic they did blur quite a bit
they were tucked in nice, cleared tank and gave a fairly good view under your armpit :D

so bought these off eblag £12 pair

options to fit internally on steel or ali bars and externally as i've done
left is great (have taken old un off now)

right is sticking out as its short, it wouldn't clear your hand as you use the throttle. it'll get done in first crash (i go greenlaning on the 'moto) so will have to see
