it was ben from weymouth who did his mud guard, the acerbis is a tricky little bugger.

I too was looking at putting some bling on my machine (before it decided to turn into a vibrator). I found this company - http://www.carbonmods.co.uk/departments/ca...ibre-sheet.aspx

They sell A4 sheets of sticky back carbon fibre for 12 quid which is certainly not as messy as using the proper stuff with the resin etc.
I worked out that an A4 sheet would just about cover the fuse box cover if done a certain way which is far cheaper than buying a proper carbon fibre one from pro-carbon and it's not as if you'd replace it to save weight.

The thing is i wanted to do the hugger as well so my plan was to buy the proper stuff for 40 quid which gets you a full metre as a kit with all the other stuff you need. Not bad considering the cover and the hugger in proper carbon will set you back around 140 quid plus postage.

tricky , im guessing you watched the videos of them wrapping a part in the real carbon fiber? .. to say they make it look easy and vastly underestimate the time needed to wrap a part is an understatement!

wrapping in real CF sheets and getting a proper finish is 10x harder and more time consuming than sorting normal body work out for a respray job in a show winning black. words from my friend a pro car sprayer.

as for the CF look wrap , go for the stuff hexis makes rather than 3M di noc.

di noc has stood still while hexis have improved their wrap each year.

ps. wrapping the acerbis front mud guard is a 2 person job!
