CCM's are unfortunaly incredibly easy to hot wire, I'm not going to post how to do it but it can be done without causing any damage or cutting of wires etc.

when i was buying my CCM 644 they offered a Meta alarm/immobilizer at a reduced rate
used to have one on my VTR so said yeah sure why not
the Meta dude came to fit it at the showroom and just laughed at the bike
said to the dealer " where do you want me to put it ?"

basicaly said wasn't any where to fit it
Wastefully exuberant as usual.

this is where the R30 is slightly beeter as they fitted that alarm under the seat, which has quite a nice little storage area.

saying that though iv'e had endless problems with the META alarm.

my alarm main unit was inside the airbox . mind you my main unit was about the size of a large box of matches . i had one of the pager alarms . it was great . long range too. if the alarm went off the pager made a noise and vibrated. only problem with it was that it had a silent alarm also . the pager just vibrated and the indicators flashed on the bike . to put it on silent you hit one button twice if i remember right . i put it on silent with keys in my jacket by accident . so when they stole the bike the lights flashed and pager vibrated while the keys were in the kitchen in my jacket lol

it had a remote start too but i never wired that bit up

this was the alarm here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yy8rMbBFf8A
