they are not piaoli they are marzocci 50mm. and for the last 2 years i had a local bike shop mot my bike because of work and having no time. each time it comes back he had changed the wheel bearings blanked out the lights because i have a daylight mot, brake pads and that what about it. the bill was alway around the £250 mark . oh and he always changed the fork seals i nknow this because everytime i took it in the were leaking and he would always mention it at the end. i never thought the price excesive but it dawned on me that i hardly use the bike at all really and twice the seals had gone so i ordered them and stripped it down to find tissue paper stuffed in the top. or did i make a mistake and is £250 the right price for a daylight mot with bearings , pads and a bit of a fiddle with the lights. Yeh looks like you've been done, no way would I go there again unless its to chuck a brick through the window. Looks like he's charging for oil seals but instead of changing them he's just packing it out with loo roll to soak up the leaks for a while. |
