i have ccm644 i was out on it the day when you get to half frottle its popping and banging and dying lol like its getting starved of fuel but not sure any suggestions guys

check the fuel filter, its a small cone thingy fitted in the metal pipe that goes to the carb, remove the rubber from carb and it should be there,

When mine did this it was a Jet come out in carb!! good luck

been out to bike the day ,fuel flow seems ok,was wandering if the head gasket was away would it cause these symptoms and is there any way of testing the head gasket

Compression test, but if leaking you will see oil leaking where the head joins I would have thought.

plus there is is not many holes for the oil to leak out of. gasket is not under the same pressure a water cooled engine .

If fuel flow is ok and the float heights are set too then make sure the jets are clear of muck etc. Also check for air leaks and make sure you plugs/coil/leads are not breaking down under load. Start with the cheap/easy fixes first mate ;)
If your not on the edge, your taking up too much room

been out 2 the bike today carb is fine done a tps test and getting a reading of 6.96onms the settings say it should be 3-6onms would this cause the coughing and spluttering im getting above half throttle.
bike also seems to heat upquiet quikly is this normial thaks
