I have an R30 (Suzuki) and wondered if I would need to change the jets for a K&N air filter, the exhaust is a standard Remus but I have no airbox lid (not fitted when I got it)
The K&N is a big bu**er, it only just fits in the filter box !
R30 & RD250D, grunt or scream?

Yes the K&N do tend to fold up a bit getting them in and out.

No you dont have to change your jets when fitted,

Is the remus can the baffles or the straight threw?

No airbox lid and std baffles can, guess your jets should be 25 pilots and 135 mains.
If it aint sharp I can play with it

Thanks for the replies.
It has 25/150's because it had a race can when I got it. I have put a baffled Remus on.

Haines recomended 25/150's so think I will see how it goes before shelling out.

If it is rich what symptoms should I expect?

It will only be rich with full throttle, pilots are fine for a std can with built in baffle, (I assume you can not remove it) if not its a race can with a removable baffle, which should have 150's and 27.5's

25's are used for modded lid and original ccm can(with baffles that cant be removed. spot of weld holding inner and outer)

If it aint sharp I can play with it
