Whilst out playing today I decided to try to ride my Carbon sports bike style. My god its a long way down to get your knee down but I managed it. However I ride quicker using the foot out method than knee down. Quite a bit quicker actually. Same road, same bike, no traffic but so much quicker! :D

Did your pegs touch down while trying to knee down the thing?
My mate had a go at 'how low can you go' on my sm the other week and managed to get the front wheel hopping, he partially shat himself lol. No body parts touched down and neither did the pegs.

No toe slider and knee slider but I was hanging off it so much so that only my left calf was keeping me on the bike!! :goodgrief: foot peg couldn't off been far off tho.
I did grind the right hand peg doing a track day at cadwell park after going into the long sweeping corner before the gooseneck far too hot. Hurt my ankle doing that but it was better than going straight on in the churned up field at 90!!

What do you mean hopping??

Hopping, skipping, basically he lost the front end briefly and started to crash but saved it. Any other type of bike I reckon he'd have been off the thing lol. I had the best seat in the house at the side of the road watching too

I've just got some leather troosers to wear/scuff on the thing so I can find its limits - felt like a tool in a one piece on it.

Ah I know what you mean there's a youtube clip of some bloke doing that a track with his leg straight out in front of him!! :worthy: :worthy: :worthy:
I have had my bike set up for me by a mate who races bikes so its so smooth at the front and a tad soft at the back keeps everything in line got a Dunlop 208 RR at he front with 209 GP on the back. Don't think I will ever find its limits tho not before finding mine! LOL.

I use to feel a tool in my 1 piece before and got some down your nose looks at cadwell until I kept going round the outside of everyone at mansfields. My mates can't beleive how low I get my bike and how quick I go round corners. Don't feel a tool anymore just feel like a riding god now. LOl

wonder if I've got my sus setup to soft as tend to get the pegs down
on my 644 a fair bit on the road ( no peg sliders )

also i tend to wear front tyre's right off the edge but the rear always
has a little chicken strip left

I tend to wear my 1 piece too, tried to get my knee down never managed it
need to hang off more or get longer legs me think :P
Wastefully exuberant as usual.

Sounds like it to me mate. I go off the rear edge but not the front. That might be because of sliding out of corners!! As for the pegs thats not right mate thats mad.Tad harder me thinks. I like a bit of give at the back but the front is pretty much planted. Soft tyres help as well. :D
Mate I bet your legs are longer than my 28"!! B)

vtr front scuffed right off the edge rear still with a little chicken strip

yep i beat you on the leg length but only by 2in or so dude :P

Wastefully exuberant as usual.
