Had the old girl MOT'd today.

A couple of advisories and a few cans of beer and she has passed! :D

Tyres and front pads near to legal limit, chain a bit too loose and in his words,

"The exhaust is offensive"

:D

My first MoT with a CCM was this year, luckily the shop I use is getting all my trade at the moment as have a GSXR750 and rebuilding an RD350 that they are dealers for, plus were a CCM dealer, so are quite understanding of CCM's, plus a good set of blokes.

Anyway MOT prebooked, turn up expecting at least advisory on headlight (non standard), exhaust as a Quill T3 that i had already been back to Quill and had them replace the baffle to make it slightly less fruity as the previous owner had removed it, unfortunately in the process they took the the strap off that had the BSAU mark on it.

Any way sitting there waiting when MoT guy wanders over and quietly says that MoT may take a while as VOSA inspector has turned up unannounced and MoT guy would rather not do my bike at that moment. Ok says I wandering over for another coffee. Sometime later MoT guys wanders across with a nice shiney MoT with a "you might want to sort the headlight out and interesting exhaust, and have a good day" No advisories on MoT :D

I like my local dealer
