Got my R30 Carbon back today from the police. Apart from a couple of marks here and there, the plunger pin for the engine on the side stand being bent and a oil change nothing wrong with it!!! :D :D :D Does need a wash and polish though.

Before Billy comes out to play there's the small matter of the offical complaint against Lincs police. I got a bill for £190 for recovery and storage after they seized my bike and the forgot they had it!! They didn't inform me and anything. I had to chase everyday so I have lodged a complaint spoke to a Chief inspector and writing letters to them their legal services and my local MP. I have been told I will get my money back. The investagating officer knew I was chasing this but still couldn't be bothered and went on her 5 days off cycle.
They think they can do what they want to who they want.

I know the feeling, had my bike nicked and recovered by the Police
When i went to the Stolen Vehicles compound to collect it, my bike
could not be located ,they had Misplaced it
I then had to fill in numerous forms which
appeared to put the blame on me. needless to say i told them to go
forth and Multiply
A constable had " Borrowed it , dropped it and was getting it repaired "
The police wanted to know if i had given the constable my permission to
ride it ,Quote " It would save a lot of paper work sir "
I said how could i give my permission , the constable had "Borrowed "
my bike3 days before i was informed that my bike had been recovered
I was then presented with a bill for the repairs to the bike
If i refused to pay , my bike would be impounded ,sold , repair bill
settled and i would be given the remainder minus the Auction Fee
I had a word with my local MP . A fortnight later my bike was returned
to me , repairs had been done plus a Top Class respray
The police sometimes get it so wrong i wonder what Planet they're on
