thats weird i thought the evo2 didnt have baffles but that says it does. your never see much increase in actual power just from a zorst and re jetting, its more in the throttle response, and even that depends on how restrictive your original zorst is. if you like your one then i wouldnt bother, check and see if your mid pipe has a cat in it and save your money for the mid range cam instead :) |

The evo2 does have a baffle, and its still loud, makes your ears bleed with out it, been running one for many years now Std can is very heavy, due to being packed with a heavy metal cylinder with baffles, and a very restrictive out let The evo was on sale for just over a ton at one point (did not look at the link) They say no need to rejet, but personally I would if you get one. Works nice with the cam and a 710. |

That's actually my bike in the advert! Strangely enough it's not an EVO2, it's a T3 |

Anybody know if you can take the baffle out of the T3? as the Evo2 I ordered turned up today but the name plate on the side says T3 in small writing on the bottom, but it has a removable baffle. Looked on the Quill site and there is no mention about the T3 having a removable baffle. confused |

No removable baffle in a T3, its all to do with the way its built, at low revs the exhaust goes the long way through it, so its quiet, about 4.5k the exhaust pressure bypasses the long route and takes a shorter one, making it a straight through and louder Recon they have put the wrong badge on yours, exhaust hole must be approx 50mm dia, if you take the baffle out you can see straight through, I would not try with out the baffle as its friggin loud, loud enough with it in, if you do buy the neighbours earplugs, they will need them :D |
