Hi,
i tried something out with the jets at my 644 r30.
-i had the (self made) air box lid on, with kn with 115/20. no good torque at the small rpm, only good at 8000 rpm.
-with 117,5/20 and other springs (i read this idea on a german page) but no effect.
-with 135/20, the holes on the airbox lid more open, its better, but not what i want
-at finally i tried 150/27 without the lid and with a race can = realy good torque :D , up at 7800rpm a little bit less power, but its ok.

but now the problem is the loud race can <_< , it sounds really good, but the police here in germany/bavaria is not very pleased about this and i dont want to much trouble.
the can is a leovince with e-stamp and baffle at the rear. ii tried to make a baffle from the front in, it was less loud but the power was away.....

now my question: have somebody a good setting without the lid and with the original can ?

sorry for my horrible english

regards joe

I would suggest air box lid with 6 holes opened to 25mm, standard exhaust, using 135 mains and 20 or 25 pilots,

My mates 644 runs this set up, I did the work on it before selling it) and it runs well. mixture screws set at 2.5 turns out.

Hi,
i had the setting with 135/20 an closed the lid holes to the size like six holes with 25mm and the standart exhaust, but it was a big different to the tourque like this.
with this setting and the Standart can and without the lid, theres no power at 4500 rpm.
or i have to try something between 140 and 145 with standart can/no lid!?
