Hello all,
I work out of the country for a couple of years, come back and find we are all skint and that ccmriders is no more. I had to go working abroad because I only managed to sell about 26 timing belts to the tractor lot, cheapest in the country too!
I still have my 604 and have had a lackie turn the engine over and generally stop the tyres getting flat spots. He swears he has not been out leathering it though I have yet to check see if the speedo cable thumb ferrule is shiny.
Its a real shame about the ccmriders site, there is such a wealth of advice and problem solving still there but not for long. Patrick is joe90? I thought he would be running a bathchair by now!

Hello mate. :D

Hiya Mark,
I have been looking at the members list and see a quite a few names I recognised from the old place. The technical solutions need to be rescued if possible, for the new and younger owners if nought else. For some of my own niggles and issues I did not even need to ask via a posting, the answers were there if I searched. Good to see people still have their mounts here.

There wasn`t much to buy other than foul beer and goats, a very dirty corner of Nigeria. Oh the taxman welcomed me back to blighty with open arms! I get the impression the price of food has gone up by 100% since I last did a shop here. I still like the place but its troubled right now and no mistake. Mind I was talking with an Irishman last weekend on the way home and they are in deeper shit. ;)
