hi there guys just a quick hello to introduce myself, ive just taken ownership of a late 2004 644ds (was up on ebay recently jack daniels decals) its my first ccm and i love it already! :D its already in peices and beening checked over, just double checking it, but all is looking ok, only slight issue ( i will post up in correct topic area) is the fuel tap has to be turned off when leaving the bike switched off as the fuel slowly gets through the carb and sits in the cylinder any ideas? thanks in advance and excellent site! jackson |

Its a commom prob with the R30, the needles sometimes jam and fill the sump with all your fuel, If you learn to turn your taps off when you stop, its not a problem, I think what happens is the lean of the bike when parked, if bike leans a lot, floats cant rise enough to lift needle Still a nice bike to have |

thanks for the reply, yes is not too much of an issue, as long as i remember to turn the tap off! and yes the stand has been bent so it nearly sits on its side when on the stand, it is on the todo list to fix, is there a simple way of beafing up the bracket on it? oh and yes lovely bike only ridden a short distance with a big grin on my face why have i stayed with only my sports bike for so long!!!!
