Hi, i bought a ccm r30 and at the bike was no airbox lid/top-plate, because the seller of the bike lost it in his garage..... . It was not ready to drive with this jetting (main jets 115, twinair filter). I made a plate by my self and changed the main jets up to 135. But with the new kn filter it feels the gas/air mix is to poor. i think the holes with 35mm are to big, can tell my someone whats the original size of the holes? cheers Joe ![]() |

If you have a race can fitted then 25mm holes should do it. i lost mine and had to make a dummy one, i put four holes in it and it runs well right through the rev range. It's a little twitchy on tick over but thats about it. Probably running a little rich but better to run rich than too lean. Edit: Just noticed your perpex jobby. Looks better than mine - i just used a piece of cardboard wrapped in insulation tape. |

Original lid has 6 holes, these were opened up to 25mm and worked well will 135 mains and std pilots, plus race can. area of 25mm hole is 4.9cm X 6 holes = 29.4cm area of 35mm hole is 9.62cm X4 holes = 38.48cm So guess to get correct air flow only block of one hole not 2. |
