I've just got round to replacing sprag and new oil seals ,all good so far . poured the first 2L of oil in .Put thee tank on turned on fuel and petrol pissed out from the overflow on the carb pipes and bottom overflow. pulled the carb and give it a clean will check float height , float valve looks ok . Should I change the oil , quite a bit of fuel leaked out. bike has been stood for a while before this happened. Thanks |

Sounds like your float needle is sticking or float height needs setting. Pull the carb off and check. These Dellortos idle badly as well if youve got float needle sticking/ float height incorrect |

Looking at that now thanks Ant, just wondered if the fuel could have leaked into the engine. |

Take the filler plug out and give it a sniff? My oil stunk of fuel when I was having trouble with float valve passing. |
