Im in the midle of sorting out the sprag and have removed the ballence shaft gear for inspection but didn't notice there are two marks one lower down which runs to the edge of the tooth and the top one that is back from the edge of the tooth , Meant to say these marks are on the gear that the balance shaft gear meshes with. which is the corect mark?

Allso does anyone know where I can get a bracket for the decomp cable

Cheers, Promoto

the 2 marks should line up together, if I remember right one mark is on the tip of tooth and the other in the gap between the teeth, these 2 gears should always be replaced as a pair as they are matched should one be damaged.

try the shop on MTriders forum for the decomp bracket or contact Gary at sportax racing, he's a member on this site, Haines for the lever and venhill for the cable, venhill I think do the cable and lever.
If it aint sharp I can play with it
