I,ve recently bought a lovely oval ti akrapovic can from a different (bigger) bike and am planning to stick it on my r30 as one its much lighter than my stock remus and two it should be much quieter as its road legal (the remus is a race can). Being oval it will give better clearance from the rear tyre. I think my bike may have the shorter suspension as it feels almost too small ( im only 5'10") which might have something to do with very slight tyre rub on the round can under big hit compression? Any way rambling on now, new can inlet is approx 52mm, CCM manifold is approx 44mm. I,ve found conversion tubes but wondered if anyone has had custom downpipes made, if so who by and what sort of cost am i looking at. I want to get everthing sorted before getting it on a rolling road to sort pumper jetting?

Have a word with Gary at Sportax as he was in the final stages of his new header systems. With the development along with his work on the pumper carb I can't see how you could go wrong.
keep the faith

I fitted the same on to my bike .I went to a garage that fitted exhausts and they spread the end for me on a former so my can fitted

I was charged £20 to get it done

Awesome! That sounds great, i,ll look into that and also speak to Gary. My downpipes in good nick so seems a shame to replace it...unless it increases performance 😜

You'll almost always hit the can with the tyre if you're riding it proper like.
