Hi,
Ideally I'm looking for a complete wiring loom for a 604 (Rotax) but would also consider just the front half if someone has a partial loom.

The front of my loom has been butchered by the previous owner and it's like a birds nest.
The wiring for the handlebar switches, ignition and the instruments is a complete mess - there appear to be 'jumper' cables and allsorts!
I've spent hours on it with a multi meter but I've lost the will.

Would like to install a correct loom for 'plug and play' but would consider splicing the good parts of mine onto the good parts of another loom.
I know these don't grow on trees but I'll keep my fingers crossed anyway!

Thanks,
John

I wish you the best luck in the world, my friend! I hadn't had any joy when I was searching, so gave up and started the laborious task of rebuilding the multicoloured spaghetti that was the remnants of my ThunderDrum loom after it had been ripped apart by thieving scum.

If you have the wiring diagram, I'd suggest you commit yourself and get soldering.

I would offer my personal services and rebuild it for you, but alas I barely have the time to get on with my own stuff...

as said above mate, any loom you "might" find, will not only be 16yr's old made with shit connectors, but will have been butchered too.

the wiring is very simple compared to modern bikes

As Johnny said, these looms are almost painfully simple, which is one of the only reasons I took the plunge and rebuilt mine.
