Still struggling to get this fekin bike right! Baugh a new air box that hadn't been butcherd, so now have a closed box, bike still bogs at anything below half throttle, doesn't hang as bad now tho. Corrently got a 40 pilot in I believe, worth trying a bigger? |

You've definitely ruled out an air leak engine side, yes? Do you know/can you see if the air and idle screws still have the O rings in their recesses? Yes, it means taking them both out and seeing if they're behind the washers under the springs, but it's a very worthwhile job. That was one of the problems I had with the PHM pumper I fitted on mine and I had similar issues. Btw, I run a 40 pilot, 190 main with open airbox, race can and K&N... |

I drink too much, I swear too much, I ride too fast and I crash too often. It is a universal impossibility for me to leave my tools alone and my bikes standard. 'It must go faster!!' | |

can you confirm your float needle valve size please, as your carb comes standard with a 350, and our bikes need a 300. if you're running a Scorpion system it's better to have a open airbox, the only people who need a closed one are us off roaders, who im guessing you bid against on ebay ;) lol to be honest though, if i was running a supermoto, i would dump your carb and either go PHM 40 with a pumper, or the Mikuni VM44. all a 38 will do is give you a better bottom end and then not much top |

Sorry to hijack your thread, but are you still wanting your butchered airbox? |

Need to decide wether to run the open sided box or closed first will then advertise the old box to anyone that wants it. Think I'm just going to bite the bullet and buy an brand new carb. Anyone have a link to the exact one I need? |

Sportax Racing! 01367 710068! Ive just took delivery of lots of new Dellorto pumpers and all the jets/innards to make them work perfectly on a 604/640. The dyno day was worth its weight in gold - and cost almost as much! But the 604 MX engines i recently built now pull your arms out their sockets! |

It's best to give Gary buzz or text, he's pretty busy, the carbs are jetted to suit though yes, the cost is around £240 .. I think!! |
