What covers, if any can you recommend... Bikes now stored outside, tilli buy another house... So will be a while, got an Oxford one which is utter shite... Bike blew over, got a small hole in it which ripped wide open... So need something more heavy duty, possibly lined.... Cheers... MM

+1 on Oxford cover being utter shite, my new one had the tape peeling off in 2 months, when I complained to Oxford I got a very unpleasant reply so f##k them, took it back to the dealer who replaced it instantly, with another one, that's now 2 years old and looks like it's closer to 20, tape hanging off everywhere and bleached out badly :whip:

Since then I've bought 2 from J&S accessories, nice soft lining over the majority but none at the back, which IMHO allows better air flow around the exhaust and swingarm

Cost was around £50

Mine lives outside under £8 aldi bike cover with another heavy duty plastic cover on loan from work over the top. Used this set up for a couple of years seems to work fine for me

I bought one from the bike show many years ago and it's bloody excellent, when I get home I'll have a look at the make and let you know it's the best cover I've ever owned!!!!

Oxford stormex you pay a lot for them they are awesome with a fleace lining inside to protect your paintwork buy once you don't have to do it again cover anything from a busa to a SXV they drown the bike! I have one on every bike in the garage! More of a outside cover but it keeps the bikes from getting scratched dusty etc

The R&G ones aren't bad. The superbike cover is a reasonable fit over my 604, better if you turn the bars one way or the other. Not lined, but does have some handy Velcro flaps front and rear for running a chain through.
I drink too much, I swear too much, I ride too fast and I crash too often.

It is a universal impossibility for me to leave my tools alone and my bikes standard. 'It must go faster!!'

I retract my statement, it was complete and utter bulls#1t. The R&G cover is pants. I've had it a few months and one seam has gone already, and you can see through it from the inside where the weatherproofing has worn off. Complete waste of money. I got more wear out of a cheap Lidl cover!

Not at the moment monty... Only In a rented flat at the mo... Hoping to get a 3 bed house eventually with a decent sized garden, so if that comes to fruition, I'll hopefully have room for folks to stay.... If you're coming over, give me a shout... Think it's rotax Matt that's coming over too... Have to meet for a drink
