Is there any way to protect the electric/fuse box from water? On my ccm DS it looks like water would just piss into the electrics if you were to go mental when washing it😝

There's all sorts of ways ranging from wax spray to a Tupperware box with cable gromets.

DOW Corning Electrical Insulating Compound is good stuff... more for localised insulating though :-)

Just seems a bit 'crappy'😔.You remove the plastic cover and all the fuses, relays and stater solenoid are all exposed. No protection from the elements really.

GT85 is not made for the job you have assigned it, ACF 50 has been .. that's it's sole purpose in life .. Aircraft grade non the less. in a place like behind the cover or inside LED rear lights before installing, you would spray it on once a year, if you really want to protect your electrics why would buy anything else?

Never had a prob with mine either, and its been well submerged totally, I do tend to have a few probs with the regulator failing, only in Wales funnily enough. but on the rotax.
If it aint sharp I can play with it
