Rather than get my leg lifted with an R&G one is there any other alternatives ?

ive search ebay but cannot really find out :chin:

I used a company called dirt skins for both the the rear cover and also for the forks. One thing to bear in mind is that on all the rear ones I have used in the past due to the lack of clearance between the shock and exhaust they can melt up near the top of the shock.

For the rear shock if its the neoprene covers youve been looking at why not make your own. A4 size sheet of 3mm neoprene less than a fiver http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/331105614118?redirect=mobile
and stitch on velcro to close it around shock..
tthats all they were like on mountain bike .

I got a R&G on mine it ain't melted yet got it direct from R&G £20 in the sale at the time

just ordered a neoprene tablet case for £1.25 delivered ...... more than enough material to make a sock

Easy to make ......... Don't know where R&G get £25 from

Getting there slowly ...... Really wants a good days detailing/ deep clean
