Hey all, as of nearly a week now, I am an owner of a CCM 644, which at 1st was a great bike!

Sadly yesterday the bike cut out completely, when i went to press starter button... NOTHING, not even a noise. I popped into my local bike mechanic (previous owner of the bike also) and asked if he knew what could be up. He said 'probably regulator rectifier is fried'. He also said 'charge battery over night and see if it starts'. I charged the battery and still nothing, strangely enough it will try to start sometimes but then the button goes completely dead again, no current being drawn from battery either (battery reads 13+). I'm hoping someone has maybe had this issure before and can shed some light on this... I just want my 'reliable' bike back! Thanks for taking the time to read this :) Cheers, Luke

welcome to the site luke,

Can you please start another thread in the ignition section with your problem

under the right cover on air box are 2 relays, side stand relay at he bottom, ignition relay at the top, pull both and check pins are not green/corroded, clean up, ign relay should click when key is turned, if not, then the fuse on the starter solenoid to the right may have blown.

link to electrical dia in the site, use the search button

If it aint sharp I can play with it
