Hi every1, pleasure to find this forum. So I'm a complete newb, never owned super moto/enduro/motorcross bikes until today! I'm from West Yorkshire and own a Honda Fireblade and a Kwak zx9r. I always fancied a different bike so today
I took ownership of a CCM 604 dual sport, really clean, came with loads of new spares and seems a cracker...apart from the gear lever. It doesn't return back to normal position after I've changed gear etc.i have to physically bring it back to the normal position and to be honest I'm struggling with it! It's really stiff Aswel. It takes gear with no crunching or funny noises though. Can anyone shed any light on this please? Also any other things to look out for/common problems?
Would really appreciate any advice guys or if any of you know a mechanic in my area I'd be happy to send some work their way.
Thanks a lot
Gaz

Ok thanks, I'll check, I haven't used the kick start, just using electric.
Where is the best place to get parts for these things?
I'm in Bradford! Not to far away from you

Not far at all, in fact i work in Birstall.
You can get bits from CCM website or Haines.
Just type it into Google

Nice1, any springs in that housing that could have gone or over stretched?

There is a spring on the inside of the crank case to return the lever to center but you would need to split the cases to change it which
is not easy. Hopefully its seized in the shaft or it a world of pain other wise.
