All the rotax ones, 350 500 560 604 636, mounts are the same for black or grey frame Or do you mean other makes of bike, ie Aprilla, MZ, matchless, I believe the matchless and MZ use the same engine as us. |

it would be a bit of a waste of a frame imo , purely because you're carrying the oil in the frame and the suzi does not |

as jonny h says its a waste putting a suzuki lump in,at the end of the day a rotax is a rotax and suzuki in its own frame.but why

It will fit, or rather any engine can fit if your prepared to cut the frame about and weld new engine mounts. |

I tried a 5 valve Rotax from an Aprilla Pegaso in a grey frame I bought, thought I could sneak a march on other Rotax owners on here, by having a 70bhp bike, failed miserably it just wouldn't fit, & I've got the best selection of Hammers in the western hemisphere, tempted by a gas axe & the welding torch (ok brazing) but even that looked like a forlorn hope, so I gave up sold the lot of stuff I collected & stuck with what I had..............even that's gone now, my advise is don't even bother, want a faster bike......then buy one!! |

Nothing to mental Steven. unless turbo charging a mini moto till it goes bang counts;)Only car ive built was a mini with a mate when i was 17 with a 2 litre astra lump! that was fun, till i lost my license;) Built a pitbike engine a few years ago that was so mental you had to pull off in second. Before i bought the ccm i was riding a custom xs 650 i built in the style of the Wrench monkeys. got my self a custom nitro monster truck with a home tuned and modified lump thats good for 70mph. i just like building things!

Ace, silly stuff, when you said mini with a 2ltr motor reminded me of a silly one we did at collage back in 1900 & black & white, we put a Mercury 150hp 2 stroke outboard engine in one, then a while ago when 7/11 gixers were "the thing to do", I just couldn't resist tossing a GSX1200 in a GSX600 chassis, got a bit carried away let Jack valentine tune up the motor 186 RW HP, 500 mile's a rear tyre!! I love "British back yard bodging" should have kept that XS650 they are fab motors to tiddle with (I had original XS2) loved it, even thought the frame seemed like it was made of chewing gum. B) |
