Hi, have some running problems with my tractor. Needle was set on 2nd clip from top - too lean (pulls like hell but engine is getting far too hot and is running hard); set the needle on 3rd clip - too rich. Didnt expect such big difference when lifting the nneedle one clip. Checked needle valve - is working how it should, float height set to 18mm. Had a look on the needle - has some worn parts...So now will order replacement parts (needle, atomiser, needle valve ) to start solving the problems What I found in my PHM: Needle valve 300, thats recommend. K32 needle, atomiser 270DR - are that the right standard sizes for the PHM in our tractors?? Thanks, Chris |

@Monty: Had a look on their site but unfortunately no info on the CCM carb, but found a very useful sheet of all the available needles with measurements. @Cuz: Had a call to the german importer this afternoon. First answer was "No, we don`t have any Infos for a CCM 604". Next I tried it with the exact carb type: PHM 40 ZS1. The info was the following: atomiser 268DR, needle K35 (original setting from Dellorto). Dont know if CCM had supplied a different needle. I ordered the K32 and K35. So it seems, that I was running a badly modified carb. Now I remember that the idling was set with the slide when I bought my baby . Was an real expert, or am I ?Cheers for the help and infos mates, Chris |
