I think one of the O rings head/barrel might be leaking noticed a little amout of oil over rear fins of the barrel ( stand side) and running down towards clutch cable rubber. Going to be replacing cam belt a bit sooner than planned as well as the O rings now. If we take it as the cam belt, exhaust, carb are already removed whats the sequence for removing the head etc to get at the O rings thanks in advance |

remove engine mount on head remove 4 head bolts remove 2 bolts front and rear of barrel. You may have to remove the starter motor and front engine bolt so engine can tip forward so the head will clear. While you have all the cam belt and covers off, why not remove the clutch case and replace the sprag spring £5 http://www.apophisparts.co.uk/rotax.html, seeing as you are almost there well worth the fiver, and piece of mind |
