Tried them and never liked heated grips. Have now got gloves with those nifty batteries. They heat hands AND fingers and the charge lasts about 100 miles.

i always prefer muffs
handlebar & lady ones

these were the better ones http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/OXFORD-BONE-DRY-MUFFS-RRP-34-99-/160932410264?pt=UK_Motorcycle_Parts&hash=item257851b398
i used to add small holes and cableties to keep em in the right position and off controls, never caused an accident for me

and these were best of all http://tryingtoohard.org/got-to-get-that-muff-shot
(does she know theres a lion behind her :what: )

heated gloves are better the grips, theres lots around that you hook up to the bikes electrics... they have a good price tag on them though, muffs are prob the cheaper option and still better than the grips. you still get cold fingers with heated grips.

Rob .. im shocked .. you must have too much time on your hands lol

The backs of my hands go cold with heated grips on really cold days and nights but for just generally cold times they are ok. I revert to the old grab the exhaust trick when I'm really cold.

My heated grips are on the other bike, the CCM is hard core. In fact, I was even thinking about changing the seat for a plank of wood to make it a little more hard core !!

I'm gonna admit that I have heated grips on my ZZR, got heated glove liners too, whole lot wires into the bike, glove liners do tend to burn the backs of my hands though, the thing with the grips though is the controllers, they're wank! put a waterproof on/off switch on and you'll be fine, currently using the motrax grips but have used the digi Oxfords too and they had the same issue.
