I use Castrol Greentec, its a foamy gel so it stays put while you scrub.
It can be a bit strong on linkages and bearings, but gives you an excuse to go round lubing after.

Muc off is just ready to use Traffic film remover, pre diluted. I use both as I had several gallons bought for me when I used to MX/enduro.

Also have a 5 gallon container of Traffic film remover, which you dilute 200:1. great for cleaning filthy car engines when used neat, as said spray on, brew or fag or both, power wash off

Air line dry, then go over whole bike with stainless steel cleaner or WD 40, water proofs it as well. and makes it shine lovely :twss:
If it aint sharp I can play with it

Whitey I've used pro clean muck off etc on moto x bikes road bikes and I always revert back to the traffic film remover as it seems to work loads better and if you buy it in 5 gallon containers much cheaper

Something Not to use. OXI-CLEAN stain and grease remover.- strips gold anodising off rear sprockets no problem. a used but still useable sprocket couldn't get the crud off just smearing it about. I'd used oxi-clean to get grease off a t-shirt so thought ha ha - 2 scoops n hot water leave to soak and wipe off. Cudd wiped off along with anodising :'(

dont laugh but we used to use cif mousse or the supermarkets own brand. give the bike a rinse off if covered in mud then spray the whole bike with the mousse then let it sit for say ten mins then rinse it off . bike will be gleaming lol. not gleaming but clean. we used to use it after and offroad jaunt on a sunday and our bikes were normally clinging with mud and i mean clinging. we had a route near the end that had a drain run off type thing we called the bike wash . as you rode up it ,it would rinse all the crap off the bike .or if we came home the other way the local river was better

I use Simple Green to wash it and Autoglym to polish. Then GT85 to degrease and silicone spray the loom and engine.
If your not on the edge, your taking up too much room

alloy wheel cleaner from £ land or £ world great stuff give it a shake spray it on, it foams up great for spokes and hubs i use a paint brush to do the spokes then just rinse off. does about 6 car wheels per can so lasts a while. They do a back to black spray thats good for shining switch gear, rubber boots outer cables even giving the frame a polish. But don't use on the seat or you'll be sat on the tank under braking
