I was having a hunt round for insurance. Bike sure have told me that they only offer third party on my style of bike. So I ask is that all supermotos ,no the underwriters only offer third party on ccm's. Bennet,s told me there's no such bike and when I started put the phone down on me. I love being different.

Carol Nash, they will do fully comp, and you get free uk and european break down recovery

My suzy was for first few yrs logged as a 598 (rotax) till I noticed it and told them.
If it aint sharp I can play with it

I change insurance company every year and trawl the price comparison websites, they all recognise the R30 --- I have fully comp, legal cover, no claims protection, standalone policy-- around £160 (but to be fair I am an old git at 52 and have 10 years no claims) :D ps: I have always found carole nash and bennets expensive!

carole nash told me they would not insure my 644DS as it used two sets of wheels (supermoto and trail. ) i only told them as i know a guy that had to fight for a payout for his KTM that was stolen while it wore supermoto wheels and was on his insure as a trail bike so i thought i would cover my ass . my 2003 ccm 644 was stolen with supermoto wheels on but under the v5 its listed as a trail bike so i expected a void claim but it went through

so i would be wary if you run a bike with spermoto and trail wheels and have to claim as who knows what the companies will pull out of the hat to try and not pay you out ;)

funnily enough my first ccm was insured through carole nash and so was the current bike
