I'm fairly sure there is no adaptorplate, just inlet rubbers joining carb to head. |

The head has 3 bolt holes in a y-shape. All the inlet rubbers I can find have 2 holes, has your got 3 holes. If I remember right Stevens had 2 and a plate in between. |

Thanks fellas, I've copied all your photos this time Steven. I ment to ask B. Farnham about velocity stacks, i know that Allen's performance sells them for the vm44. |

I made that one up for a laugh just to see if it made any difference, well on NO is the answer, not the way it was jetted before, but I might try again, I'm not sure what the right length should be but where it mounts on the back of the carb is an inch long so from the end of the carb it's 3" long, do you like the "tea strainer" on the end, that's to stop it sucking boy scouts in!!!

Thought that was a tea strainer, handy if you fancy a cuppa when your out. A. Performance give lengths for velocity stacks and mez porting did them to. There's a plate between your rubber manifold and the head. If you look on page 2 of this topic Cuz put up a picture of two heads you'll see what I mean. |

I got a bit of 8mm plate to try out. Will get the engine back in end of next week hopefully and try it out, sounds like I might have to take it down a mm. Where's Bob Farnham based and what does he charge, might have to get a head done if I can't adapt the 560 head Edited by Cuz, Mar 10 2013, 09:55 AM.

He's in kent , near brands hatch he charged me £100 to do the head.he said he hadn't done a rotax in years and that if he'd remembered how much work it was it would have been more, but Monty said he said the same thing to him. |

Thanks Koban. I'm going to talk to an engineer on Monday and see if he can alter the rocker feed on the 560 head and if not I'll give Bob Farnham a ring |
